Academy brings home hardware from Disney Cup

Youth footballers from Academy Sports Club returned home from the 2018 Disney Cup International on 23 July celebrating a strong showing, with a championship trophy, as well as second and third place finishes at the tournament played at in Orlando, Florida.
The club took 72 players, including guest players from other local teams, to the week-long event at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
The U15 Boys team were champions of their Gold Cup division, the U11 Boys runners-up of their Gold Cup division, and the U17s took third spot in their Gold Cup tournament. The U13 Boys team had a tougher time, returning without any hardware.
It is a tradition when Academy Sports Club teams travel to have players of each team to vote by secret ballot for their Team MVP and Team Leadership Awards.
