- Updated: 8 July 2018
Academy Sports Club wrapped up the 2018 Cayman Islands Football Association junior season with a comprehensive win to hoist the U17 FA Cup on 4 July.
A pair of goals from Mason Duval led the way for Academy as they dominated Cayman Athletic for a 5-1 win at the Annex.
Other scorers included Jahmai Griffiths, Gunnar Studenhofft, and Conor Crighton.
Academy were competitive across all youth divisions this year winning titles at various levels and also took home a number of runner up finishes.
With the U17 boys season wrapped up, the spotlight is left to shine on the CIFA U21 Men’s League, which is being contested by Academy Sports Club, Cayman Athletic Sports Club, Elite Sports Club and Future Sports Club. Games are being played throughout the month of July.
