Bucs hold on against Storm
- Updated: 6 March 2018

Advance Fire Buccaneers held off Fidelity Cayman Storm for a 14-7 win, their fourth in a row in Cayman Rugby Football Union’s 2017/18 Alex Alexander Memorial Championship on 3 March.
Bucs took initiative early scoring a pair of tries while the game was still fresh and took a 14-0 lead into the halftime break.
After the teams returned to the field, it was a competitive battle to the end. The Storm made the Bucs work hard to hold onto the lead, turning up the intensity with a score to cut the lead to seven points with about 10 minutes to go. Despite the pressure, the Bucs were able to withstand the late push to remain defeated.
This was the lone game on the calendar for the weekend.
