Cato, McLaughlin get national team spots
- Updated: 14 February 2017

Two reserve players have been named in the final squad for the Cayman Islands national cricket team ahead of a series of 50-over matches against Argentina this month.
Corey Cato and Zachary McLaughlin were initially listed as reserves when the touring squad was announced on 24 January. However, a Cayman Cricket official has confirmed to CaymanSportsBuzz.com that they have since been named among the 14 players who will represent the islands at the ICC World Cricket League Division 5 Qualifiers from 20-27 February.
Both players have been gaining praise from Technical Director Peter Anderson for their continued effort during training, even after being named as reserves.
They replace Omar Willis and Troy Taylor, both of whom were unable to have the necessary travel documents in time for the trip.
The full squad is:
Ramon Sealy (captain)
Chris Palmer (vice-captain)
Alessandro Morris
Darren Cato
Paul Chin
Kevon Bazil
Kervin Ebanks
Neil Coley
Conroy Wright
Deno McInnis
Jalon Linton
Ryan Bovell
Corey Cato
Zachary McLaughlin
