Cayman to send 8 to Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championships

The Cayman Islands Golf Association has named eight players to compete at the 2019 Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championships in Bahamas later this month, including a pair moving up an age group after winning their divisions last year.
Aaron Jarvis captains the team and will compete among U18 Boys along with Tom Dickens. Jarvis was Caribbean champion in the U15 Boys division in Jamaica last year.
Holly Mclean, who lifted the trophy as the individual champion for 11-13 Girls age group last year will be one of two girls representing the Cayman Islands, along with Lauren Needham. The pair both competed in the senior Caribbean Amateur Golf Championship in the Dominican Republic earlier in July.
Other team members include: U15 Boys – Justin Hastings (assistant captain), Andy Hastings, Todd Purton; U13 Boys – Sam Mclean.
Accompanying the players to the 22-26 July tournament in the Bahamas will be Andrew Jarvis (coach), Robin Jarvis (manager), Lana Jarvis (photographer/coordinator).
