CIS ‘Blue’, Cayman Prep still undefeated

CIS Blue has shown no sign of slowing down.

Cayman International School ‘Blue’ extended their undefeated run in the inaugural DART U14 Girls’ High School Football League with their fifth straight win to open the season.

The ‘Blues’ defeated Cayman Prep ‘City’ 6-0 with the respect rule enforced in their game at Camana Bay Sports Complex on Wednesday, 8 November. CIS ‘Blue’ remain atop the table with a maximum of 15 points from their five matches.

However, it would not be two wins on the same day for CIS, as their ‘White’ team fell 1-0 to St Ignatius.

Elsewhere, Cayman Prep ‘United’ remained two points behind the leaders with a 5-1 win at home against John Gray High School. Clifton Hunter and High School and Triple C played to a 2-2 draw.

In DART U13 Boys’ High School league the following day, Cayman Prep remained unbeaten with their fourth win in five games. Prep beat Cayman Academy 6-0 at the Annex to hold firm on top of the standings with 13 points.

In the match-up of the two teams in a race for second, there was no separating Triple C and St Ignatius at the CIFA Field, with the scored ending 1-1. Triple C remains four points behind the leaders, with St Ignatius another two points adrift.

Cayman International School edged John Gray High School ‘Sevens’ 2-1 at Camana Bay Sports Complex, while Clifton Hunter High School hammered John Gray High School ‘Eights’ 7-1 at home.

CIS (blue) def. JGHS 7s 2-1.
