Cayman Islands swimming standout Jordan Crooks is set to compete with some of the best US collegiate swimmers, having committed to joining the men’s swimming & diving team at the University of Tennessee.
“I am excited to announce my verbal commitment to further my academic and swimming career at the University of Tennessee. Go Vols!” said the 18-year-old, who is planning to join the Volunteers during the 2020-2021 season.

Crooks, a member of Camana Bay Aquatic Club, holds a combined seven national and Cayman Islands Aquatic Sports Association (CIASA) age group records. He has also represented the Cayman Islands at various international competitions, including the Youth Olympics, Island Games, and CARIFTA Swimming Championships.
The Tennessee Volunteers men’s team was a top-20 ranked NCAA team heading into last season.
