Ebanks flirts with triple-double as Thunder advance

Cayman Islands national men’s basketball team captain had a solid all-round performance to help Worthing Thunder advance to the semi-finals of England’s NBL Division 1 playoffs with a 98-89 win against Team Northumbria on 7 April, 2018.
The starting guard had 15 points, nine rebounds and eight assists in 38 minutes of action.
Thunder overcame their visitors in a big part to deadly three-point shooting, hitting a season-high 18 shots from beyond the arc on 58 percent shooting. Marquis Mathis led Thunder with a 26 points and 10 rebounds, while James Grinham hit eight three-pointers in a 24-point performance.
Thunder will now travel on 15 April to Loughborough Student Riders in the next round after they edged past Manchester Magic after overtime.
