Jr golfers complete two rounds of KPMG series

Junior golfers completed Round Two of the KPMG Junior Golf Series on Sunday 26 November. The format was handicap stroke-play for the 18-hole contests and gross score for the nine-holes events.
For the 18-hole blue tees, Andrew Jarvis and Justin Hastings both shot a score of 72 (1 over par), but after taking the handicap into account, Justin finished first with a net score of 73 while Andrew ended up with a 76.
In the white tee 18-hole division, James Bould finished first with a net score of 76, with Todd Purton coming second with a net score of 77. Lauren Needham won the 18-hole red tees with a net score of 2 under par 69, after playing one of her best rounds to date.
In the Junior nine holes Red Tee contest, Danny Lyne came home the winner with a gross score of 43. Second place went to Zach Brooks with a 49. Luke Dodson won the nine-hole Junior tees, scoring a very good 45. Second was Ben Lyne with a score of 50 and third was Barnaby Robinson who scored 52.
The third round of the KPMG series is scheduled for January.
