Juniors ready to open serve on 2018
- Updated: 3 January 2018

Junior tennis players open serve on their 2018 season with the first round of the PwC Junior Tennis Circuit scheduled for 12-14 January at the Cayman Islands Tennis Club in South Sound.
There will be three age divisions open to boys and girls: 10& Under, 14&Under and 18& Under. The Tennis Federation of the Cayman Islands (TFCI) said the tournament is open to any junior wishing to take part. Registration must be done by 9 January.
“The TFCI follows the ITF ‘year of birth’ age eligibility rule. Juniors who turn 11 or 15 during the 2018 calendar year must play in the 14& under and 18& under divisions respectively,” the federation explained.
Last season came to a close with Jake Fagan (10&Under), Jakub Neveril (12&Under) and Jade Wilkinson (18&Under) finishing atop the rankings of their respective divisions. Neveril was thoroughly dominant in his age group, winning all six tournaments in 2017.
See registration details below from TFCI:
The Tennis Federation of the Cayman Islands is using new software to manage the draw, scheduling and results reporting. As such, all players will need to register with Top Dog Sports by January 9th 2018.
Registration is relatively straightforward and is free to players. Select the following link (www.topdogtennis.com) and once you have opened the link select ‘Log In’ and then ‘Create TopDog Account’. The form doesn’t give Cayman Islands as a country option so please enter Grand Cayman as the city. Please also ensure when you register that you select ‘Tennis Federation of the Cayman Islands’ as your Home Club. A sample registration form is attached.
Once registered with Top Dog Tennis please register for PwC Junior Circuit 2018 #1 tournament (https://www.topdogtennis.com/pages/tournaments/information.asp?tournament_id=500)
PAYMENT OF FEES
All players must pay the tournament fee of CI$25.00 at the tournament desk on Tuesday January 9th between 4pm – 6pm, at the Cayman Islands Tennis Club. Players and parents will also need to sign the attached waiver and hand it in at time of payment.
PLEASE NOTE
Juniors who have entered to play online, will not be able to play unless both payment and waiver form have been received.
If you have any questions regarding the tournament or registering with Top Dog Sports please contact admin@tfci.ky.
