Lara Butler sets national record at Olympics

Cayman’s Lara Butler finished fifth in Heat 2 of the women’s 100m backstroke in Rio de Janiero on Sunday, 7 August.
Swimming in lane six, Butler touched the wall in 1 minute 4.98 seconds, a personal and national best in the event. However, her time was not fast enough to secure a spot in the semi-finals.
