Police searching for footballers

The deadline is approaching for teams who want to take part in the Royal Cayman Islands Police 6-a-side Championship League competition. Teams interested in playing in the league that starts in June must register by 30 May 2017.
“The RCIPS Police Sports Committee is reaching out to any businesses, organisations or private individuals who wish to show their support for the police by participating in this special competition,” a police spokesperson said.
Played under the theme “RCIPS Football Club in the Community for the Community”, the main goal of the competition is to continue to build camaraderie and fellowship within the organisation and outside of it, with the wider community.
The registration fee for corporate clubs and law enforcement football teams is CI$100.00 per team, payable to the Police Welfare Fund.
