The Cayman Islands Football Association (CIFA) disciplinary committee has handed down a three-game ban against Alan Purvis, the head coach of Sunset Football Club’s women’s team.

Drawing the suspension was Purvis’ refusal to leave the field of play after being sent off by the referee during a league match against Scholars International last month.

According to reports reaching, the match was blown off with Purvis adamant he would not leave the field after disputing what he considered to be biased officiating against his team by one of the assistant referees.
