Training for new football refs

The CIFA Referees’ Department will be conducting a Referee Beginner Course from 16-23 October 2016 at the George Town Primary School. The course starts on Sunday, 16 October 2016 at 3:00 p.m.
The purpose of the course is to offer training to those individuals who wish to become certified as a referee or an assistant referee and officiate in local football leagues and advance as a FIFA referee.
Participants will be exposed to the intricacies of the laws of the game, including the offside rule, fouls and misconduct, match management, referee techniques, report writing and fitness techniques.
The course is free of charge and interested males and females between the ages of 18-35 are encouraged to call the CIFA office at 949-5775 or email the CIFA Head of Referee Department, Mr. Kenville Holder at villan47@hotmail.com to register.
