U11 CIFA Boys’ League kicks off

With the CUC Primary Football League over, young players turned their attention to their clubs, as the 2017 CIFA Under-11 Boys’ League kicked off on Saturday, 4 February.
In the four matches at the Annex, 15 goals were scored with four clean sheets being recorded. Future SC beat Prospect Academy FC 6-0, while Academy SC Stingrays beat George Town SC 4-0 in the early games.
Sunset FC Celtic beat Savannah Tigers FC ‘A’ 2-0 and Academy SC Lions beat Savannah Tigers FC ‘B’ 3-0 in the later games.

The season runs until April and games will be played every Saturday morning at the Annex Field.
The CIFA Under 11 Girls League will begin next Saturday, February 11 and there will be times designated for the Under 11 games when the girls play (9:00 a.m., 10:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.) with the girls games being played simultaneously with the boys. There are nine clubs registered for the boys league and four for the girls league.
