U15 boys fall to Guyana

The Cayman Islands fell 2-0 to Guyana in their final group match of the CONCACAF Boys U15 Championships in Florida on Thursday, 8 August.
Entering the game with a win and a draw, Cayman had a shot to top the group but were undone by goals from Samuel Garnett (41’) and Rajan Ramdeholl (61’).
In the other Group E match, Nicaragua powered past the Bahamas 4-0 with goals from Fabrizio Velasquez (10’), Cristhian Herrera (25’), Ocnarpz Rodriguez (42’) and Darwin Corrales (58’).
Nigeria finished atop the group unbeaten with two wins and a draw for seven points. Guyana was second with six points after two wins and a loss. Cayman finished third with four points after one win, one draw and one loss. Bahamas, who were winless, finished bottom of the table.
Cayman now plays Belize, who finished third in Group F to determine final positioning on Friday morning.
