U19 hoops tips off this weekend

The Cayman Islands Basketball Association’s 2018 U19 leagues are scheduled to tip-off on Saturday, 6 October with a pair of games in each of the boys’ and girls’ competitions at the John Gray High School Gymnasium.
Each league features six teams, including four from the Women of Valour programme.
In the girls’ league, the participating sides are CHHA Legendz, DREAM, WOV Fearless, WOV Courage, WOV Boldness, and WOV Spirit.
The boys’ league features Killer Beans, CHHS All Stars, Hawks, Thrashers, CI Hoopsters, and Knights.
The schedule for the opening round this weekend is:
Game 1: 3:30 p.m. (Boys) Killer Beans vs CHHS All Stars
Game 2: 4:45 p.m. (Girls) WOV Courage vs CHHS Legendz
Game 3 – 6:00 p.m. (Girls) DREAM vs WOV Fearless
Game 4 – 7:15 p.m. (Boys) Hawks vs Thrashers
The basketball association, in a circular to teams, has indicated that the venue may change, but that this will be communicated in advance.
