Youth football update
- Updated: 3 March 2017

Youth footballers get a break from their leagues this week to coincide with the school mid-term break. However, they played under bright sunshine at the Annex in their latest round of games last Saturday (25 February).
Sunset FC Rangers picked up their third win in as many matches to start the CIFA U11 Boys League, matching the record of Academy Lions, who were inactive. However, Rangers didn’t need to kick a ball to pick up three points because of a forfeit on the part of Prospect Academy.
Rangers’ club mates, Celtic shutout Future FC 2-0, while Savannah Tigers ‘A’ picked up their first win with a 2-1 result against Academy Stingrays. George Town SC beat Savannah Tigers ‘B’ 3-1.
Meantime, among the U11 Girls, Elite SC and Academy SC were the winners. Elite beat Savannah Tigers 3-0, while Academy SC saw the respect rule enforced after building up a 4-0 lead against Prospect Academy.
Elite SC girls were also victorious in their U13 league match against George Town SC with a solid 6-0 margin.
