Ameline quickest at 10m time trial

Veteran cyclist Jerome Ameline was the quickest of a dozen competitors to finish, as the CI Cycling Association hosted a 10-mile time trial in North Side on 5 August.

The race saw riders start in Frank Sound near Clifton Hunter High School and pedal through North Side and back to the start/finish line.

Ameline completed the course in 22 minutes 13.104 seconds, travelling at an average speed of 27 miles per hour.

Next quickest was Steven Abbott, who was 19 seconds off the winner’s pace, crossing the line in 22:32.977. Cebert Wood was third overall in 24:53.552.
